A Techie's Dream Smartphone this decade.
"There are things that we wish when we grow up wanting. There are certain days were we depend on our parents and there are days where stand in our legs and buy the things which we love which inspired us to win, the push to accomplish the prize of the product. There is one such thing in the world, Technology."
Technology has driven us a long way since its evolution. People from staring at the touch sensitive smartphone are now preparing to write reviews by predicting the future of smartphones like 64 bit Desktop Architecture to a 5 inch monsters and i am one among them.Even though Technology has evolved so much manufactures lag somewhere in their product making the end user to compromise something in the end by falling in short of handing the 'The Perfect Product'.
As a smartphone lover i always tend to imagine a device that is perfect in every aspect or every test that is put into.Here I have a I wished i had scenario to put into one the best products that world can witness at present. So lets the imagination begin.
"Imagination is only source that a human can witness the things that are not even possible to exist in real world... "
Imagine a Smartphone that has
- Apple's uni-body premium Glass + Aluminum build with 4K retina display.
- An Buttery smooth user interface like Android which is customizable to user liking
- Combined AppPlayMarket Store,. an open source where a techie can play around.
- An Nokia Camera technology with Sony camera sensor.
- Samsung Phones technology and awesome software features.
- An Water resistant smartphone like Sony's
- HTC boom sound and high level multimedia.
- Qualcomm+Intel combined powered Chip-set.
- Nvidia Graphics Desktop Gaming Architecture in Smartphone.
- Google Powered Siri has a Virtual Girl Friend.
An last but not the least which is high impossible for the above specification, where the phone comes with a Price tag of nexus 5 ,just 349 $ only.
This looks cool as we see it, but manufacturing is not a mean task. Its not impossible but its difficult. The biggest Challenge lies with the engineering to accommodate in a smartphone and ensure the portability and handling factors should never be compromised. Also its not that each Manufacturer arent good enough to give the world on the technology they lag.
For Instances,
1) Apple has to compromise on how much a value added product they can give to the world. Starting from iOS Devices and Mac they all come under Apple Ecosystem there by which they have formed a small circle and everything and anything happens within the circle, Which is bad from a neutral user perspective but they have done enough to make people believe that the things have been done for a reason. starting from the proper code reviews to Apps in App store to the security of an Apple user
2) Samsung has to compromise on build Quality. Building the outer shell with plastic on backside makes them include wonders inside. Software features that Samsung has bought to the world may not be overwhelming or highly useful, yet we had thought about doing that to our phone at least once in our life Eg. smart pause, smart stay and gestures controls. maybe after 10 years these features might come handy.
3) HTC on the other had lost its plot since 2012 due to a massive success of Samsung phones, hence to compete, it concentrated on multimedia features and ensured a high quality hardware with excellent sound. Yet they had to compromises on certain places where they failed to impress with a software magic.
4) Nokia, once a Global leader . Its soon to be primary OS windows was a major downfall of Nokia's 'Super' Market. No possitives can be taken since microsoft has now acquired nokia, Future clearly shows how well the phone performs with its primary OS and make developers interested in creating high quality applications for them.
5) Sony provides camera sensors for all most all leading manufactures above. yet they could not come beyond a second choice smartphone with a poor display quality , not enjoyable User experience, and on Demand tier 1 smartphones.
6) Nothing really to about LG and other mobile phones as they are not fairly popular world wide and yeah, you though i missed. But i dint.
'BlackBerry is out of my List'
Bottom-line: All Four major manufactures wins or losses equally in Battery Department. So Nokia's 1100 series phones makes the cut.
