HI Friends,

                     Back after a break, feeling refreshed this week after a sleepless night that bought the Sun up on July 1st !! Many might suspect this as an Fathers B'day Blog. May be your wrong. Its just Clubbing two moments together.

                     It was July 1st 12.00 AM, I wished my dad a happy bday and slept. had to wake up by 3.30 AM ! Nope not writing any exams , It was a final ! It was a game where organized football coming against freestyle football.It was Spain vs Brazil.

                    My Dad woke up by 3.05 AM sharp, seeing my eyes getting attracted to Sofa Pillows than the TV set he offered me a Cup to Tea.  then the game began. Its difficult to support a team in a final when you love both the teams the way they play ! but I asked myself  "Who Do you support ??"

                                    " My Mind said Spain !! My Heart said Brazil "

                     One would say its hard to support Brazil, knowing they don't have Ronaldinho or Kaka , the guys who hasn't retired and still under 34! but seriously if that's your thought your not worth supporting Brazil.

                      My love for Brazil started back in 2002 WC seeing CAFU lifting the World Cup standing on the podium and giving back the title to the team to gets is share of Harsh and soft kisses!! That was a Dream Team! I started following brazil football since then. WC 2006 and 2010 were not the ones we expect from Brazil.

                       When i started to took Club football seriously in 2010, started following big teams. Knowing Luiz, Thiago, Marcelo, Oscar, Hulk, Ramires, i always thought putting those together could make a side that can beat any team in the world on a given day. On adding to that, appointing a Proven performer like scolari was a added Confidence! Kudos to Brazil Football Board.

                         Spain as team , knows the time to score and one has to understand they know what they do! Mind vs Heart battle heated up. Fred, turned to be my hearts savior scored the 1st inside to 2 mins. The sound of Joy, that made my mom wake up at 3.33 AM inside the closed door. This Goal was a Surprise.

                         Its hard to accept a goal against your favorite team even before its been scored. Both Myself and Cesar were convinced in 1-1 and then came the Superman Luiz ! that moment defined the game, and his post match comment proved that how can good a player he is!

                           "Cesar, saved me from my mistake in last match by saving the penalty against Uruguay , i took this chance to pay him back for what he did to me" - Luiz !

                            Neymar play to escape offside trap and Fred Finishing Formalities were a added bonus!
I always love presentation ceremony's when my fav team bags the biggest price. At 6.00 AM my eyes witnessed a Visual treat , the samba boys celebrating the Victory the typical Brazil way.

            There are some moments that define your day, eventually making the day best in that year!

            For me its July 1st for 2013. Not just because Brazil won the Tournament beating a high profile team quite convincingly. but also planting a seed of confidence that might grow to a tree when we reach 2014 WC!

              The SAMBA BOYS are RISING.
