IOS 7 - what I feel..

"Yup, If you don't have an iPhone, well, you don't have an iPhone."

Hey Guys,
How are you ? the Caption would suggests that this time scribbler would scribble something about the Apple and its recent activities. Yes its "ios7"

My Blog is going to talk about the top features of ios 7 that made me say

"wow"
"OK"
''wait i have seen this somewhere".

Note : i'm Not a Apple Fan, neither for Android nor windows. this is solely a unbiased review. So lets Begin.

First Impression:

I haven't did any hands on on the latest OS yet, but expressing on what I felt on watching many hands on videos and many reviews from various mobile websites

The WOW Moments.

1) Lock screen:

The important part of a Mobile screen i would say, because there is a lot you want to do without you unlocking your screen like turning on WiFi, playing music, Clicking Camera. Swipe from top for notification area and down for control area. and anywhere from right to left to unlock the phone.

2) Look and Feel:
Wont say its great, yet good, Flat UI, revamped icons with rounded edges. Colors are attractive, eye catching but for some it may be eye disturbing especially those grass green icons.

3) Control Center.

Split-ted into 5 Layers, non customizable  consists of toggles, Brightness Adjustment, Media Player, Air Drop, and 4 frequently used Apps(according to apple, calculator ?? really apple??). not changeable, sad about that.

4) Photo Gallery and Viewing.

Last time i used a Apple product was 2 years back. I found it difficult time in viewing my pics from time to time. but this time Apple has bought in a concept of 'moments' where the  pics are filtered and album-ed according to events. That's really cool.

5) Upgraded Voice Assistant Siri:

This was a great piece of innovation, it was considered when apple released it has lone upgrade from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S. then it faded. Now it might get noticeable voice assistant.

Apple's siri can do - Bluetooth , WiFi , brightness controls, voice mails  update friends updates from networking sites, play music and also gender transformation(toggle between male and female voices).

OK Stuffs

Impressive but not mention-able as a innovation.

6) Camera Application deserves a mention with the newly added effects that can use to use to take photos rather then taking the photos and then adding effects.

7) Folders : Apple allows its users to fold up their common icons such as games, office, newsstand  where they can group no of apps based on  needs. No limitations on icons to be present in given folder. ( 9 apps can be viewed at a time).

8) Swipe right to left to go back of an application instead of single press back button which was not found odd actually. but large screen iPhone queuing up, this feature is handy.

9)  Notable mentions: -
Live wall papers,
New keyboard,
Music and Video Player has got skin treatments,
iTunes radio available only in US.
Control center notification toggle, folder background will be based on color of skin selected.

10) Apple maps has been upgraded, but reviews suggest it has got better yet not the best, thanks to Google maps and Nokia here.

''wait i have seen this somewhere".

This will bring the fun moments of this blog. it contains the some copy cat features of ios 7.

i)  Safari browser  Thought too much on browsing experience , it looks good can create countless tabs, but the alignment and tab view looks similar to that of Google chrome.

ii) Multi-tasking: Double click to get it, choose from recently swipe up to remove. looks similar windows phone Multi-tasking.

iii) Swipe from anywhere to unlock, Pull down notification area -Typical Android Stuffs.

Disappointments:

1) Sadly still no home screen, once you unlock the app menu appears- the typical ios style.
2) No widgets.
3) No customization's can be done.have to live it up with what apple has given.

Overall , Jony Ive (Senior V.P Design ,Apple Inc) has given a new look to the 6 year old OS, have to accept the fact, things are gone better  but being the best only comes when you beat all your odds.

Android Key Lime Pie, Windows 8.1, Competition is On. All the Best Apple.
