My 100 days of Dating with Android !!
Hi Guys,
My First Smartphone was a iPhone 3G, Apple's Security System made me sick of using it,
Connecting it to a Comp for sync music, movies . Changing Unsupported Formats to supportable. Sync up issues etc etc.
For a Scenario, You take a brilliant Snap of your friend and your Friend (an non - iPhone User) wants it immediately, so that he can update his Facebook Disp pic but unfortunately does not gets the pic because your phone cant do a file transfer with non - iPhone.
Then I felt iOS is supercool but with my style of use and handling,living with it made me sick.
And then came the Android Evolution, i changed to Android, since then its been happy dating between me and android for 100 day hence. Here is a brief blog about my dating experience with android for 100 days.
Any relationship need a sync up, When a friend teases you with your crush in high school. your mind would say "stop it dude, this is the limit", but your heart would say "Continue Dude! you are the man".
Awesome Feel isnt it?
That kind of a friend to me was none other than the Big Boy called 'Sammy - SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2'. 'Hey Sammy, Gotta Seperate Blog Plan for you!! So kindly excuse!! This blog is for Android'
Ok Let the Briefing Begin,
When i made booted my phone for the first time.. Android said 'Hi , You need have a gmail account'. Well i have one! So up first
UI Customisation:
I dont want to compare to other phones but i really want to express my desire to customise my phone to my wish. Android encouraged you have a desire then achieve it. With this OS, i can customise my UI as i wish, which is not in case in Apple orWindows Phone OS. I can even try out the iOS and Windows OS look and feel in my Android phone. but vice versa never possible in the present scenario.
App Count :
8,00,000(as on Feb 2013[source: wikipedia])
Trust me. In playstore there is an app for any every purpose, if not there is an app related to our requirement. Google itself recommends some quality apps which ultimately spoon feeds the user the needs. My note 2 has a S-pen stylus and there are apps for specific s- pen purpose. Considering the fact that many high profile apps are present in all Platforms but getting them free can happen with android.
An Platform To Perform:
Oh ! the love these words a platform to perform, Google provides the platform for its users. I always dreamt of creating a Android application, where it gets 1,00,000+ downloads and 5 star rating. I am so far from it. Yet to prove google made many android powered humans. Invitation to third party apps not so encouraged by Windows,but Android (the typical freeware) really pulls in many young dev's. that lead to its astounding growth.
A Time Burner:
Yes, everywomen has positive side and a negative side. This female burns my time. but for a good cause. Starting from my Phone bill going on credit card bill payment reminder till the time to reach office with atmost accuracy. make me feel proud.
Imagine a few instances,
1) you are caught in traffic, your manager calls and asks "when ll your reach?" and you reply "in 17 mins Boss!". He asks back "how come so accurate?". courtesy : Google Now.
2) Omg is Apr 8 , 11.55 PM , 5more mins past my bank is gonna penalize me for delaying to pay my credit card bill by due date .But i did pay and escaped the fine amount. courtesy : World wide most trusted secured Bank App.
3) No Plans till sunday morning. Suddenly a friend comes from no where lets go for a movie. Living in City you cant zero it on some decisions. No issues Check for ticket availablity if Yes,
Book It. courtesy : Some Mutliplex and Cinemas App (All most all malls in city has app in playstore)
4) Ultimate customisation experience. I'm not a great fan touch wiz UI of SG Note 2, but playstore provides many launchers and widget application by which i can customise my phone by my liking. Eg. Apex, Go, Retina, Honeycomb,ADW Launcher, launcher 7. whereas in Windows phone and iOS customization option is very less and those very less are system defined.

5) Buying a smartphone just for Social networking or Gaming, you cant find a OS platform which has every social networking , communicating and Gaming(except those which are specifically defined for a particular OS) available in the world. Starting from Facebook , whatsapp, Blogger, Temple Run 1 and 2, Subway surfers etc etc.
Most of you might feel why this bugger is talking about positive things under a tab where he says Android is time burner.
Simple Fact: Android Burns my time... but I'm learning the world every second.
Compound Fact : Android Burns my time.. not my Body Fat though, instead boosts it! With my eyes stuck to the super amoled screen, i'm aint moving that much.
My Dear Android , you are responsible for it!
So its final words time,
"So Android, You have been a happy Hunting ground for me, You helped in full filling my desire. my love to you grows day by day and i sense no stagnation point. My 100 days of Dating with you has been excellent! Thanks a lot! Love you Loads!"
